Summary

The City of Winter Park is seeking Letters of Interest (LOI) from valet companies that are interested in partnering with the city to provide valet services for events at the Winter Park Library & Events Center, 1050-1052 W Morse Boulevard, Winter Park, Florida 32789.

For consideration, please address the following questions:

1. Is your company fully licensed and insured to provide valet services in this jurisdiction?

2. What is the typical staff-to-vehicle ratio you provide during peak hours?

3. How do you ensure secure key management and tracking of vehicles?

4. How do you handle incidents involving customer vehicles?

5. How do you coordinate logistics for special events or high-traffic periods?

6. What is your approach to utilizing available parking spaces efficiently?

7. Provide a list of three (3) references from clients for whom you have provided similar services.

8. Provide the type of uniforms your valet staff wear and how you ensure they maintain a professional and polished appearance.

Background

The Winter Park Library & Events Center is interested in obtaining valet services on an event-by-event basis. Services shall be available year-round, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

  1. Events Center - 1050 West Morse Boulevard
    1. Sunday through Saturday, 8:00 am to 11:00 pm
    2. Open on an event-by-event basis
  2. Library - 1052 West Morse Boulevard
    1. Monday through Thursday, 9:00 am to 9:00 pm
    2. Friday and Saturday, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm
    3. Sunday, 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm

The available parking options are outlined below:

  1. On-site parking will be dependent on surrounding business and sporting events. Vendor will coordinate with Events Manager on availability.
  2. During Library operating hours:
    • Only library patrons may park in the first thirty (30) spaces with signs notating "Library Patrons Only”. These parking spots may not be blocked, saved, or utilized for valet parking.
    • Library parking lot (corner of Morse Blvd and Harper St) must remain accessible for ingress and egress of library patrons.
  3. Loading zones and fire lanes may not be utilized for parking.
  4. Off-site parking lots have been secured to park vehicles at the following locations. Highlighted areas of the overflow lots with times each lot may be utilized are listed in Attachment A.
    • Valencia College (100 spaces) – 850 West Morse Boulevard
    • Orlando Health Women’s Pavilion (25 spaces) – 1111 West Fairbanks Avenue
    • Lakeside Crossing Garage (79 spaces) – 170 South Orange Avenue
    • Martin Luther King, Jr. Park (public parking area, this parking lot's availability is subject to change due to upcoming construction project utilizing this area) – 255 South Denning Drive
    • Heritage Park - 941 West Morse Boulevard (316 spaces) - parking only available Monday-Friday, 5:30 pm-2:00 am, and Saturday-Sunday, 11:30 am-2:00 am
