Chris Walsh Memorial Trail Designer

The City of Framingham (City) seeks MassDOT pre-qualified professional engineering firms (herein referred to as “the Consultant”) to provide a full range of preliminary and final design engineering services relative to the design and construction of the Chris Walsh Memorial Trail (CWMT) defined by the provisions of this Request for Qualifications (RFQ).  The proposed project will improve a stretch of approximately 1.3 miles in Framingham to create an accessible shared-use path along the western boundary of Farm Pond from the existing boat launch on the northern end, connect with portions of the MWRA Sudbury Aqueduct, and develop a new pedestrian bridge to connect the new multi-use trail to the existing downtown MBTA parking lot utilized for commuter rail parking.

RFQ documents can be obtained electronically through the City of Framingham’s   Vendor Registry portal https://vrapp.vendorregistry.com/Vendor/Register/Index/city-of-framingham-ma-vendor-registration Proposals must be submitted electronically through the City’s Vendor Registry system.  Proposals submitted through any other means, such as mail, email or hand delivery, will not be accepted and will be rejected by the City as non-responsive.

RFQ documents will be available on Wednesday June 11, 2025 at 10:00 A.M on  Vendor Registry.

The City reserves the right to reject any and all submissions, to waive any minor informalities & technicalities, or to cancel the bid if it were in the public interest to do so.
