Description: Contractor shall provide up to three tractor trailer operators for up to 35 hours per week each based on CCPC needs. In addition to driving/deliveries, contract drivers will perform various manual tasks in and around warehouse area. The Cook Chill Production Center (CCPC) is operated by the NYS (New York State) Office of Mental Health (OMH). CCPC serves OMH facilities and other NYS and federal agencies, and not-for-profit groups throughout the state.
The cook chill system is a way of preparing large quantities of food using a time/temperature process that provides an extended shelf life. The CCPC offers over 150 items and produces 15,000 pounds of food daily.
