Issue Date: March 21, 2025The Fort Valley Utility Commission (FVUC) is seeking Sealed proposals for the construction of new water supply wells, elevated water storage tank, water treatment plants, and water mains located along Fulwood Road and River Road in Peach County, GA. Sealed Proposals will be accepted at the Fort Valley Utility Commission, in the Meeting Room, 500 Anthoine Street, Fort Valley, Georgia 31030 until 10:00 AM, Thursday, May 1, 2025, at which time they will be opened publicly.For the Bid Submittal Instructions see RFP documents and Contract Documents Section 00 21 13 ¿Instruction for Bidders¿.
The scope of the project shall consist of the following generally described work: Peach County Water Infrastructure Improvements: Contract A: 750,000-gallon elevated water tank - Complete
The scope of work in Contract A includes construction of a new 750,000-gallon elevated water storage tank along GA Hwy 49/Peach Parkway in Peach County, GA., within the proposed Peach Parkway water treatment compound. The work in Contract A includes permitting, clearing, grassing, earthwork, grading, erosion control, gravel access driveway, a new 750,000-gallon elevated storage tank, painting, piping, fittings, valves, wiring, electrical components, SCADA, and all necessary material, labor, and appurtenances associated with a complete new elevated water storage tank as shown on the plans and in the specifications.
