Sealed bids will be received by Saskatoon Public Schools until 4:00pm Central Standard Time, January 28th, 2025. Bids will be opened privately.
The work includes, but may not be limited to the following:
- Upgrading the existing exterior walls, which includes removing existing glass blocks, constructing wall infill as required for new windows and/or doors, and adding new insulation and cladding.
- Replacing the existing exterior exit doors, sidelights, and frames.
- Replacing the existing windows with upgraded windows to SPS standards.
- Replacing roller blinds with new cordless blinds that meet SPS standards.
- Removing existing asbestos vinyl floor tiles by a qualified asbestos remediation specialist/subcontractor and replacing them with new vinyl flooring.
- Re-grading to ensure proper slope and drainage away from the building, limited to the front yard adjacent to the exterior walls within the scope of work.
- All required repairs/touch ups to the interior finishes, or other interior components (e.g., millwork) affected by the work are also included in the scope.
Bids shall be submitted on the Bid form provided in the Bid documents. Bids must be accompanied by Consent of Surety and by a Bid Bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the submitted Bid Price.
The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids received and will not necessarily accept the lowest bid.
