Readiness Road Rehabilitation Project: The Readiness Road Rehabilitation Project at Southern California Logistics Airport consists of the reconstruction and rehabilitation of approximately 97,000 square feet of existing roadway pavement along Readiness Road and adjacent areas. The project includes milling and removal of the existing asphalt pavement section, excavation of unsuitable materials, compaction of native subgrade, installation of crushed miscellaneous base, and placement of new hot mix asphalt pavement. The work will improve roadway conditions, extend pavement life, and enhance access for airport tenants and operations. Additional improvements include the installation of approximately 360 linear feet of conduit for future infrastructure needs, removal and replacement of existing curb and gutter, adjustment of utility structures to final grade, and construction of ADA-compliant parking improvements. New pavement striping and markings will also be installed to improve traffic circulation and accessibility.

Readiness Road is a critical roadway within Southern California Logistics Airport (SCLA) that provides access to airport facilities, tenants, and operational areas. Over time, the existing pavement section has deteriorated due to age, environmental exposure, and continuous vehicular traffic, resulting in cracking, surface degradation, and reduced pavement performance. The rehabilitation of this roadway is necessary to maintain safe and reliable access throughout the airport and to prevent more costly repairs in the future.
