Description:

City of Cartersville Electric System is requesting proposals from several contractors who regularly engage in full electric utility distribution system fuse coordination and sectionalizing studies for use by the City of Cartersville. The intent of this study is to analyze Cartersville Electric System’s electrical distribution system to optimize the placement, sizing, and coordination of protective devices (fuses, sectionalizers, and reclosers) and circuit ties to ensure system reliability, selectivity, and compliance with industry standards. This service is to be coordinated by Cartersville Electric System, and Cartersville Electric System will select the most technically qualified and the most economically acceptable organization for recommendation to the Cartersville Mayor and City Council for a contract to provide this service on an as-needed basis and as assigned by the Cartersville Electric System.
