Description

The United States Government intends to award a lease using Other Than Full and Open Competition for the Transportation Security Administration for an existing lease expiring in Alexandria, LA at Alexandria International Airport (AEX) on 02/01/2025. The Government requires ON AIRPORT space yielding a minimum of 1,400 Rentable SF. The space must be located on airport property, and all ancillary services must be included as part of the rental consideration.



This Justification and Approval for Other Than Full and Open Competition has been reviewed and approved in accordance with established TSA procedures and is hereby published in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR)6.305. Any and all redactions in this published document (that is, language marked out or deleted) have been identified and confirmed by the Government as contractor proprietary information which the Government must protect from unauthorized disclosure.



The Government may consider alternative space if economically advantageous; otherwise the Government intends to pursue a sole source acquisition. All offers should be aware that the Government will consider the cost of relocation, alterations, etc., when deciding whether it should relocate.



A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed procurement action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.



This is not a Solicitation for Offers or a Request for Proposals. The Government will not pay for nor reimburse any costs incurred by interested parties in providing a notification of interest and/or capability statement in response to this posting.
