INVITATION TO BID
SLIPPERY ROCK UNIVERSITY of PENNSYLVANIA UP-2025-420.1 East Lake Outfall Upgrades Slippery Rock University of the PA State System of Higher Education invites Contractors to download bid documents for this project. Work for the Project shall be accomplished by a Single Prime Contractor according to Pennsylvania statute. The Lead Prime Contractor shall be the bidder awarded the contract. Specific instructions for coordination and responsibilities of the Lead Prime Contractor are contained in Section 0131000, Project Management and Coordination, and elsewhere throughout the Contract Documents. Work included in the Prime Contract shall include, but not be limited to, the following: General Construction SRU East Lake Outfall Improvements Project UP-2025-420.1. The project consists of but is not limited to site preparation and removals, demolition and removals, erosion and sedimentation controls, earthwork, water pumping and diversions, stormwater management improvements, pavements, traffic control and related signage, seeding and landscaping and fish and fauna restocking. Work shall include, but is not necessarily limited to, the furnishing of all labor, superintendence, materials, tools and equipment and performing all work necessary to complete all General Construction to the satisfaction of, and subject to approval of the Professional and State System of Higher Education. A Pre-bid conference, with site visit to follow, will be held on October 31, 2024, at 10:00AM, in the Conference Room, 100 Buildings & Grounds Road, Slippery Rock, PA 16057. Electronic Bids are due no later than 2:00 PM, EST on November 21, 2024, through PASSHE’s ARIBA Sourcepoint located at http://seller.ariba.com. The Bid package is available at http://seller.ariba.com. In order to submit a proposal, interested bidders need to register at PASSHE’s ARIBA Sourcepoint http://seller.ariba.com. Registration is a free process that takes only a few minutes. Once registered, bidders may obtain all solicitation documents, receive notification of solicitation updates, and submit and update their confidential bids online. PASSHE’s Ariba Sourcepoint provides bid privacy, security and supplier confidentiality, while streamlining the overall procurement process.
