Secondary Contract for Maintenance and Repair of Light Duty Vehicles

Project Description: The City of Lubbock is seeking bids for a secondary contract to provide preventative maintenance and repair services for light‑ and medium‑duty vehicles. This solicitation is for a one‑year (1) contract with four (4) additional one‑year extension options. The intent of this Invitation for Bid (ITB) is to solicit qualified vendors to enter into a supplemental contract with the City of Lubbock (hereinafter referred to as “the City”).
This solicitation is intended for vendors who are not currently awarded under the primary Light‑Duty Vehicle Maintenance & Repair contract. Vendors holding the primary award should not submit a bid for this secondary contract.
To ensure adequate coverage across multiple locations within and outside the Lubbock city limits, the City may award contracts to multiple vendors if it is determined to be in the City’s best interest. Worksite locations include, but are not limited to, Muleshoe, Wilson, and Lake Alan Henry.
