The Naval Air Warfare Center, Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) Lakehurst, NJ intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Antenna Products Corporation (Antenna Products) CAGE: 06032 for the issuance of a five-year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract. The IDIQ will be for the procurement of Ultra High Frequency (UHF) and Very High Frequency (VHF)/UHF antennas. The Government anticipates delivery orders to be issued on a Firm-Fixed-Price basis.
Only the Antenna Products UHF and VHF/UHF antennas can operate on the required radio waves and can meet the requirements for form; fit; function; assembly; adherence to Military Standard 810G, Department of Defense Test Method Standard: Environmental Engineering Considerations and Laboratory Tests; and have the required modular design with a small form factor, while maintaining configuration management and interoperability within the RIS FoS.
The Government intends to solicit and negotiate this requirement under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1), FAR 6.302-1 - Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. However, the Government will consider all responses received within fifteen days after the date of publication of this synopsis. Registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) (https://www.sam.gov) is mandatory for consideration. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on the responses to this notice will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
