COMMUNITY SURVEY. The City of Orono is seeking proposals from qualified consultants to conduct a statistically significant community survey in 2026 to support the development of the City’s 2050 Comprehensive Plan Update. The selected consultant will provide survey services, including survey development, administration, analysis, and reporting. The survey will assess resident satisfaction with community quality of life, City-provided services, community priorities, and potential City policies and plans. Survey results will be presented to the City Council and will help guide City decision-making, prioritize initiatives, improve services, and support the 2050 Comprehensive Plan Update. A full copy of the Request for Proposals (RFP) is available on the City of Orono’s website . Proposals are due by 12 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan., 20, 2026.
