The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) intends to contract using other than full and open competition for the procurement of Boarding Pass Scanners (BPS) and associated support services. Accordingly, the TSA intends to award a contract to Desko GmbH, Gottlieb-Keim-Str. 56, Bayreuth, Bayern, Germany, 95448. This contract will address the requirements of the Acquisition Program Management (APM) Identity Management Office.
The proposed contract is for supplies and services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement of submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
