Should we include safety reps as a billable classification or have their cost included in the other rates?
3/18/2025 3:13:56 PM
SECO will not approve any billed time for Safety Representatives.
3/21/2025 2:51:43 PM
Since FEMA does not reimburse standby time, can SECO provide clarity on when and how standby time will be authorized and minimized?
3/18/2025 3:14:01 PM
Stand-by time refers to the time after the contractor has been checked in and before storm restoration begins. During this time, the contractor is responsible to maintain contact with a SECO representative for instructions and work assignments. The contractor must check in with their SECO representative at least twice daily, (morning & afternoon) during stand-by time billing. If the contractor maintains contact with a SECO representative during stand-by all billed time will be approved.
