Direct Care and Treatment's (DCT) Minnesota Sex Offender Program (MSOP) currently provides voicemail services to clients at three (3) DCT-MSOP facilities. DCT believes that recidivism rates are reduced when clients can keep connections with family and friends while undergoing treatment. Therefore DHS-MSOP desires to continue providing expeditious, secure, and accessible voicemail services for clients, their families and friends.
Contract vendor will provide all necessary components of a voicemail system and web-based interface. After initial purchase, there will be no cost to the State for set up, materials, and training that is required to use this service.
