Overview:

The Government is soliciting bids for a term contract covering the collection, removal, and recycling of DEMIL A mixed metals scrap generated at NASA White Sands Test Facility. The annual estimated quantity is approximately 130 tons of iron and steel scrap. Material consists of mixed, unsegregated, unprepared light and heavy steel and may contain ferrous and nonferrous attachments and other foreign attachments.

Key Requirements:

• Mandatory Pre-Bid Site Inspection Required (IFB Section 3.3)

• Appendix A and Standard Form 114 (SF 114) required with bid submission

• Performance Guarantee: $6,000.00

• Pricing based on a percentage of a published market index

• Insurance documentation required prior to performance in accordance with IFB Section 7.2

• All amendments must be acknowledged

• Failure to comply with solicitation requirements may result in a bid being deemed non-responsive

Site Inspection and Access:

NASA White Sands Test Facility is a secured Federal installation. Advance coordination is required for site access. Badging, security screening, and other access restrictions may apply. All inspection scheduling must be coordinated with the Government representatives identified below.
