PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE IS FROM DATE OF AWARD THROUGH October 31, 2030
Project Location – T56S, R79E, Sec.35, T57S, R80E, Sec 4, 5, 8, 9, 10, 11, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 23, 24 Copper River Meridian in the Petersburg Ranger District of the Tongass National Forest
Description of Work – The objectives of this project are to increase the viability of young-growth harvest for the benefit of local economies, provide early seral habitat for the area’s deer and moose populations, improve water quality, riparian and wildlife habitat, improve ecological function and maintain water quality by accomplishing the following:
There is an estimated volume of 4,059.65 MBF of Sitka spruce and 462.26 MBF of western hemlock sawtimber of included timber.
Awarded contract will be a commercial services contract with requirements for timber removal.
The contract shall be awarded using a best value source selection method; the resulting contract shall be a firm fixed price commercial services contract.
