MECHANICAL SERVICE
NOTICE OF INVITATION TO BID
The Town of Wilbraham invites sealed bids for the 2026 Wastewater Pump Stations Mechanical Service Contract.
Bids must be made in accordance with all applicable Federal, State and Town laws and regulations and must
comply in all respects with the instructions, conditions, specifications and other requirements in the Invitation for
Bid packages. Prevailing State Minimum Wage Rates must be complied with as per MGL Ch 149 section 26-27d.
These wage rates are contained within the contract documents.
Bid packages can be obtained from the Department of Public Works, Town Hall, 240 Springfield Street,
Wilbraham, MA 01095 (413-596-2800 x208) on January 8, 2026. Bids must be in sealed, opaque envelopes shall
be marked "2026 Wastewater Pump Stations Mechanical Service” and delivered to the above address by 3:00
p.m. on Thursday January 29, 2026 where they will be publicly opened and read aloud by the Chief
Procurement Officer. All bids must be submitted on the official Standard Bid Form (Exhibit C), included in the
bid packages. Bids must include the signed Non-Collusion (Exhibit A) and Non-Discrimination (Exhibit B)
paperwork. No bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of forty-five days, excluding Saturdays, Sundays and
Holidays, after the actual date of opening of the bids.
The Town reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive minor informalities or irregularities in any bid,
and to make an award in any manner consistent with the law and deemed to be in the best interest of the Town of
Wilbraham.
