The NIH/NICHD intends to restrict competition in accordance with RFO FAR 12.102(a) and solicit directly from NIKON INSTRUMENTS INC.in accordance with RFO FAR 12.201-1(c)(2) for a 12-month service agreement to support the NICHD division-owned Nikon AXR Confocal Microscope S/N 533005, including LUNF-XL Laser Unit S/N 20000393, and DUX-VB4 Detector Unit S/N 600350, located in Building 6B, Room 310. We need a service contract that provides essential annual preventive maintenance as well as on-site repairs and laser alignments, including genuine replacement parts, labor, and software updates, to minimize downtime and ensure continued reliable operation.
This Presolicitation notice is NOT a Request for Quotation (RFQ)/Solicitation, however all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, quotation, bid, or proposal, as appropriate, which will be considered by the agency. Responses shall be submitted electronically to Jacob Balenson via email to Jacob.balenson@nih.gov no later than 1700 (Eastern Time), 1/6/2026.
