Description

ANIT-SWEAT INSULATION REMOVAL AND REPLACEMENT FOR CGC RESOLUTE.



5.2 Detailed Tasks:



5.2.1 The contractor shall remove and dispose of existing insulation in select areas.



5.2.2 Install approx. 680 feet of new insulation around select chill water and other lines ranging from ½” – 4” in diameter in accordance with the publications listed in section 7 of this document. Insulation should be rated to minimize heat transfer over a 60℉



5.2.3 Valves? Approx 20 CHW alone temperature differential with no condensation on the piping or exterior / interior of the insulation material.that may need replacing



5.2.4 Treat approx. 770 square feet of interior compartment vertical bulkheads to prevent all sweating in accordance with the publications in section 7. Bulkheads separating compartments with large temperature differences will be prioritized.



5.2.5 Replace and properly insulate approx. 20 linear feet of ducting that has corroded due to condensation.
