APEX Accelerators are an official government contracting resource for small businesses. Find your local APEX Accelerator (opens in new window) for free government expertise related to contract opportunities.
APEX Accelerators are funded in part through a cooperative agreement with the Department of Defense.
The APEX Accelerators program was formerly known as the Procurement Technical Assistance Program (opens in new window) (PTAP).
This requirement is from Combat Air Forces (CAF) and Air Combat Command (ACC) to support the 127th Operations Group (127 OG) located at Selfridge ANG Base in Harrison Township, MI. Up to 85% of Air Force fighter pilots surveyed reported some type of spine discomfort during their career. The OHWS program is designed to meet the unique physical needs of the rated fighter pilot. These services are accomplished through a comprehensive, coordinated, multidisciplinary “pre-habilitative” physical training program with focused strength and conditioning, physical therapy and athletic training.
The program is designed to give fighter pilots the tools and access to professional athletic training, massage therapy and strength and conditioning to prevent future injury and increase quality of life.
