Project Description: A. Project Identification: UPSD DOOR SECURITY UPGRADES
MGA Project No.24-0063
Project Location: All five school facilities in the Upper Perkiomen School District. Addresses are provided in the Project Summary.
B. Project Description: The Work of Project includes, but is not limited to the following:
Electrical Construction Contract – Electrical construction work is required for installation of new door security equipment and associated infrastructure. Contract includes all selective demolition, cutting, patching and refinishing of areas impacted by the work.
a. Electrical Contract shall also include all accessory General Trades work to patch or alter existing construction.
C. Construction Contract: Bids will be received for the following Work under a Single-Prime Contract:

C. Notice to Bidders:
Qualified bidders are invited to submit bids for Project as described in this Document according to the Instructions to Bidders.
Not less than the minimum salaries and wages as set forth in the Contract Documents must be paid on this project.

The Contract is subject to the requirements for Affirmative Action to ensure Equal Employment Opportunity (Executive Order 11246).
Any bid submission and subsequent contracts fall under the Pennsylvania Right-to-Know Law, 65 P.S §§ 67.101-3104,(“RTKL”).
This Request for Proposals is being offered exclusively through the PennBid platform which shall assess a fee based on the value of the bid. Only vendors AWARDED contracts are assessed a fee capped at 1/3% of awarded value for fixed fee contracts or 1/6% of contract value (+ tax) for term contracts. The minimum PennBid fee shall be $100 and the maximum fee shall be $5,000.
