Description:

The Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, materials, permits and fees necessary for the Vault Door Lock Replacement - Long Beach Redondo located at Long Beach (Redondo) Armory, 2200 Redondo Ave, Long Beach, CA 90822.  Work to include: The contractor shall replace the combination dial and locking devices for existing GSA Vault Doors at the Long Beach Redondo Armory. All work shall be in accordance with the terms, conditions, and requirements of this Invitation for Bid (IFB). Bid submissions shall be emailed to PWC@cmd.ca.gov with the subject title BID FOR EVENT# 37158 - DO NOT OPEN.

Prospective bidders MUST schedule a site visit at 2200 Redondo Ave, Long Beach, CA 90822 by contacting SSG Hernandez, Javier at Javier.Hernandez1@cmd.ca.gov and CPT Hernandez, Andrew Andrew.Hernandez@cmd.ca.gov. Failure to schedule site visits may result in disqualification from submitting a bid. Prospective bidders shall not proceed directly to the job site unless directed to do so in writing by the Contracting Officer. Prospective bidders may obtain directions to the pre-bid job walk site by contacting Javier.Hernandez1@cmd.ca.gov or Andrew.Hernandez@cmd.ca.gov.

The prime contractor MUST possess a type C-28 - Lock and Security Equipment Contractor license and GSA Certification DoD Lock Program.

All questions regarding this IFB MUST be submitted to Nicole Jackson, at Nicole.Jackson@cmd.ca.gov no later than 4:00 PM on 11/14/2025. Email subject lines must state RFI FOR EVENT# 37158.

If an addendum is necessary, it will be issued prior to the Bid Opening. The bid opening will be held on 11/19/2025 at 2:00 PM.
