Request For Bid - Painting Contractor Services - Citywide

Project Description: The City is seeking qualified painting contractors to provide a full range of painting services under resultant contracts. Work may include small to medium repair and maintenance projects, remodeling and rehabilitation efforts across City facilities. Contractors will provide all required labor, materials, equipment, transportation, and supervision necessary to complete projects in accordance with industry standards and manufacturer specifications.
Typical tasks include but not limited to surface preparation, repair of damaged areas, priming, sealing, and paint application, as well as cleaning, caulking, sanding, masking, and protecting adjacent surfaces and fixtures. Contractors may also need to supply and manage scaffolding, including setup and dismantling. Contractors will be expected to prepare cost estimates, coordinate with City Project Representatives, monitor project progress, ensure compliance with all specifications, and maintain quality control throughout performance.
