Building Demolition at 1320 18th Avenue

Time and Place of Opening Bids:  The City of East Moline, Illinois, will receive bids until 10:00 AM on August 24, 2026, at the City Hall Annex, 912 16 ^th Avenue, East Moline, Illinois for the demolition and clearing of buildings (residence and garage), foundation, if any, and all debris from the premises located at 1320 18th Avenue, East Moline, in Rock Island County, Illinois and legally described as LOT 2 JULIUS GRYMON PREZ ADD in the TOWN OF EAST MOLINE, now City of East Moline; situated in the County of Rock Island, the State of Illinois, Parcel 09-30-321-007. Bids will be opened and read publicly at the City Hall Annex, 912 16 ^th Avenue, East Moline, Illinois at 10:00 AM prevailing time on 24 ^th day of August, 2026 or at such later date and place as may be then fixed.

Instruction to Bidders:  Specifications and proposal forms may be obtained from City website https://www.eastmoline.com/bids or the City Hall Annex, 912 16 ^th Avenue, East Moline, Illinois, upon registration of the person, company, or corporation.  All proposals must be accompanied by a bank cashier’s check or bid bond for not less ten (10) percent of the amount of the bid.

All Contracts for the Construction of Public Works are subject to the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130/1-12).
