University of Calgary
The University of Calgary requires:
1. Two (2) each Imaging Cell Sorting Instruments with a minimum of 5 lasers with integrated Class II, Type A2 Biological Safety Cabinets (BSCs) with minimum four (4) year extended warranties.
2. One (1) each Imaging Flow Cytometer (Cell Analyzer) Instrument with a minimum of 5 lasers with minimum four (4) year extended warranty with an integrated Class II Type A 2 Biological Safety Cabinet (BSC) with optional 4 years extended warranty.-
The imaging cell sorting and imaging flow cytometer instruments must be able to be integrated into a Class II, Type A2 biosafety cabinet for research use under various biocontainment conditions.
Some systems will be installed and maintained under containment level 3 (CL3) conditions. The Proponent is required to deliver, install, train and continually service instruments inside a CL3 facility.
Optional extended warranties will be purchased at time of equipment purchase.
The university is interested in obtaining proposals from Proponents quoting instruments separately and also providing second quotation for “bundle instrument” pricing for evaluation.
*Proponent(s) may bid on a single instrument or multiple instruments.
