Project Description: Sealed bids for the Moshannon Community Center Parking Lot Improvement Project will be received by Snow Shoe Township until 9:00 AM on Tuesday, September 2, 2025. Bids shall be submitted via PennBid. Bids received after 9:00 AM on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, will not be accepted. All bids submitted pursuant to this solicitation will be publicly opened at 9:00 AM on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, and considered by the Snow Shoe Township Board of Supervisors meeting at a special meeting at 9:00 AM on Tuesday, September 2, 2025.
This contract includes the excavation and removal of portions of paving, repair of selected areas (i.e. excavate and patch), and application of Warm Mix Asphalt surfacing on existing paved areas at the Moshannon Community Building located at 1361 West Sycamore Road, Snow Shoe, PA, 16874.
A bid bond in the amount of 10% of the bid price, and performance and payment bonds in the amount of 100% of the contract price will be required. All work must be completed by October 31, 2025. Work shall be coordinated with the 2025 event schedule for the Community Center to avoid conflicts with scheduled events.
This work is funded by a Local Share Account Grant provided by the PA Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED) awarded to Snow Shoe Township. Prevailing wage standards apply to this project. Compliance with the Public Works Employment Verification Act through utilization of the Federal E-Verify Program is required. This contract will require compliance with Commonwealth Non-Discrimination/Sexual Harassment Provisions, The State Contractor Responsibility Program, and the Americans with Disabilities Act.
