In general, the project includes the demolition of select abandoned portions of the Pocahontas Landmark Center. An asbestos abatement will be performed before demolition can begin. Cutting, capping, and rerouting of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and fire protection utilities as well as water proofing at the demarcation lines are required. The foundation of the demo areas will be removed, backfilled, and finished to seeded lawn.
