Request for Proposal
To support the interim housing needs, the government is supporting the construction of modular homes. It is estimated that the provincial funding will build 250 modular homes for eligible displaced Jasper residents and 21 modular homes in Hinton for seniors displaced from Pine Grove Manor.
The modular homes are currently being procured by ASHC with the intention that the construction manager coordinate delivery and be responsible for connection, final site servicing and any remaining work to make them habitable for the residents.
The expectations is the first homes will be ready for occupancy January 2025.
The actual number of homes, density of the build, and sites are still being determined for the Jasper sites. The permanency of homes on the Jasper sites is still being determined.
There will be twenty one single family homes on the Hinton site for the Pine Grove Manor residents. The homes will remain after the need for interim housing is completed to be repurposed for housing in Hinton.
1. The project delivery method will be Construction Management (CM).
2. The Approved Construction Budget is $32,300,000.00.
