The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Engine Generator Program has a requirement to maintain backup power for National Airspace System (NAS) facilities. In fulfillment of these duties, the FAA requires a supplier to manufacture, maintain, and provide life cycle in-service support for Commercial Off-the-Shelf/Non-Developmental Items (COTS/NDI) Engine Generator Systems (EGS).
