Project Description: The work involves the removal and disposal of one (1) 9,350-gallon capacity fuel tanker trailer. The fuel tanker trailer was formerly used to store Jet A Fuel. Assume the tanker is empty. The scope of work shall include cleaning of the tank interior, containerizing the wash water, transporting, and disposing of the wash water and tanker trailer. Cleaning, transportation, and disposal shall be conducted in accordance with all applicable federal, state and county rules and regulations. The wash water shall be tested for contaminants associated with jet fuel. Sampling shall be conducted in accordance with applicable federal, state, and county solid and hazardous waste requirements. The contractor shall submit to the Engineer, a certification that the interior of the tank was cleaned, the laboratory sample report, waste disposal receipts, and transportation manifests for the wash water and tanker trailer.
