Project Description:

New Toyota 8FGU30 Forklift (6,000 lbs Capacity) or Equivalent

This section indicates the Technical Specifications for the forklift required. The Technical Specifications listed herein are the minimum requirements and are mandatory for an accepted bid.

Item No. 1: Furnish and Deliver ONE (1) New Forklift, Toyota 8FGU30 Forklift (6,000 lbs. Capacity) or approved substitution, with the following specifications:

Mast Type: FSV 3 Stage 89.2” collapsed / 187” overall lift height

Base Capacity: 6,000 lb. Pneumatic Tires

Power Source: Propane Fuel System with propane tank

Safety Features:

1. Overload Protection

2. Tilt/Level Sensors

3. Back-up Alarm

4. Rear View Mirrors

Manufacturer’s Warranty:

1. Basic Truck Warranty - 12 Months 2,000 Hours

2. Power Train Warranty - 36 Months 6,000 Hours

3. Toyota 4Y Emission Control System Warranty - Long Term 60 Months 3,500 Hours Parts Lists

Other Features:

1. Side shifting carriage

2. Amber strobe lamp

3. 48” forks

Special Instructions

The equipment must be brand new. Equipment must have original manufactures warranty.
Refurbished equipment NOT acceptable.

Delivery must be during normal business hours M-F 7:45am - 4:30pm close on State and
Federal Holidays and within 90 days After PO is received.

Delivery will be at Bld 52, 1st Flr

Input Shipping/Handling and Taxes in the appropriate lines.

Shipping will be FOB Destination.

Total Price Must include All applicable costs including shipping/delivery/handling and
taxes.

Provide adequate delivery support to unload heavy items.

All substitutions are subject to prior approval.

For items requesting “equivalency” consideration, please email your proposal by February 24, 2026 and explain how your proposed equivalent item meets each specification identified on the RFQ. We shall provide a determination by February 26, 2026.

We reserve the right to determine equivalency.

*Under Hawaii law (103D-310(c), HRS), vendors must provide proof of compliance in order to
receive a contract worth $2,500 or more with state and county government entities in Hawaii.
