Project Description: The City of Dallas Park and Recreation Department – Planning & Design Division is soliciting proposals from qualified landscape architectural and engineering firms for the design of the Five Mile Creek Trail – COG/DART (CSJ 0918-47-474) project under the 2024 Bond Program, Year One.
The project will include design, cost estimating, preparation of construction documents, and construction administration for a 14-foot-wide concrete shared-use trail extending through the DART corridor in southern Dallas. The improvements will include pedestrian bridges, retaining walls, drainage systems, erosion control measures, and accessibility upgrades in accordance with ADA and City of Dallas standards.
The consultant will coordinate with TxDOT, DART, and other utility or regulatory agencies as needed to comply with TxDOT Local Government Project Procedures (LGPP) and federal funding requirements.
This RFP is issued to shortlisted firms from the City’s Consultant Pool and is intended to select one consultant to perform all design and construction administration services for this project.
