Using a qualifications-based selection process, the Allen County Engineer will be selecting a firm to complete
Right-of-Way Appraisal Review Services for the Breese Road / Shawnee Road and Breese Road / Dixie Highway
intersection improvements project located west of I-75 in Shawnee Township.
Proposed Facility: Full signal upgrade of the intersection of C.R. 142 (Breese Road) and C.R. 152
(Shawnee Road) and the intersection of C.R. 142 (Breese Road) and C.R. 270S (Dixie
Highway) to mast arm signals; countdown pedestrian signal heads with push buttons;
sidewalk landings & ADA curb ramps; high visibility crosswalk markings; radius
improvements; and drainage improvements. Also included is the addition of a
westbound right turn lane at Breese Road onto Shawnee Road.
Construction Cost: $2,921,200
Project Schedule: Local RW Certification on 6-18-2027
