Description

CDIC has launched an Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) program aimed at implementing and automating some of its Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) practices. CDIC also aims to modernize its ITSM capabilities to align with ITIL standards and more effectively address various IT and cybersecurity risks. As such, CDIC is looking to procure a Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) integrated, cloud-based SaaS ITSM Solution to cover existing practices and the newly introduced practices by the ITSM program. CDIC also aims to modernize its ITSM capabilities to align with ITIL standards and more effectively address various IT and cybersecurity risks.

By this open Notice of Proposed Procurement (NPP), CDIC is announcing its intention to issue a Negotiated Request for Proposals (NRFP) on or about January 6, 2025, and inviting technically experienced and financially stable and capable suppliers to submit their interest in responding to a subsequent NRFP for the supply, licensing and implementation of an ITSM Solution.

The term of the resulting contract will be for an initial period of three (3) years with up to seven (7) consecutive one (1) year option periods, to be exercised individually or in multiples, at CDIC’s sole and absolute option.

The NRFP will contain more details on the selection and award process, mandatory requirements and statement of requirements, describing various aspects of CDIC’s current environment and needs in greater details.
