The City of Edwardsville, Illinois is issuing a Request for Qualifications (“RFQ”) to Architect/Engineering firms for a complete update on the City’s ADA Transition Plan

Request for Proposal documents will be available online by visiting the City of Edwardsville website at https://www.cityofedwardsville.com/bids.aspx

In order to have your firm considered, please submit RFQ in a sealed envelope containing four (4) copies, marked “City of Edwardsville ADA Transition Plan”.

Proposals must be received at the City of Edwardsville, office of the City Clerk, 118 Hillsboro Avenue, Edwardsville, Illinois 62025, no later than 2/6/2025 at 2PM (CST).  Proposals received after the closing time and date will be returned unopened.

The project consists of completing a full update to the City of Edwardsville’s ADA Transition Plan.  The City of Edwardsville had completed an original transition plan in 1992, then completed updates in 2015, 2018, and 2021.   With PROWAG being finalized and the City adding several new buildings and parks, the City is looking to complete a new comprehensive ADA Transition Plan.  The ADA Transition Plan will be an encompassing look at all City facilities, Right of Way, and operations.

The consultant selection shall be based on the evaluation of the firm’s proposal by a selection committee. The selection committee shall consist of a panel of engineering professionals employed by the City of Edwardsville. The Group follows qualifications-based consultant selection procedures.

The City of Edwardsville reserves the right to consider any proposal and to reject any and all proposals if doing so best serves the public interest.

The City of Edwardsville reserves the right at any time and for any reason to cancel this consultant procurement process, to reject any or all proposals, or to accept an alternative proposal.  The City and/or staff may seek clarification from an offer at any time and respond promptly if there is cause for rejection.
