Cascade County Attorney’s Office is issuing this Request for Proposals (RFP) to acquire a computer-based case management system to facilitate the Attorney’s Office in digitally handling all aspects of case management, which includes the ability to track all relevant event information; charges and charge information; law enforcement, victims, witnesses, and other case-involved persons; sentencing information (including sentence credit and suspended time); court conditions; notes; and other case information. The accepted vendor will warrant that its software will integrate seamlessly with the County’s e-discovery platform hosted by Pine Technologies (
https://www.pinetech.com/
).
Offerors having questions or requiring clarification of this RFP must address these issues via e-mail or in writing to the procurement coordinator listed below, on or before 5:00 pm, Monday, March 17, 2025. The County will provide a written response by Monday, March 24, 2025, to all questions timely received.

Proposals must be received no later than 3:00 p.m. on April 14, 2025, at the County Commission Office, located at 325 2nd Avenue North, Suite 111, Great Falls, MT 59401, where proposals will then be opened publicly. Once opened, proposals will then be evaluated by the Cascade County Attorney’s Office and the Chair of the Board of County Commissioners. Any interviews will occur after the evaluation of proposals and once a proposal is selected, a contract will be approved and awarded by the Board of County Commissioners. All proposals must be submitted in the following format: one (1) original and three (3) copies of both the technical and price proposals. Clearly write “Proposal for a Cascade County Attorney’s Case Management System” on the outside of the envelope. Proposals received after the aforementioned time and date will not be considered.

The County reserves the right to reject any or all proposals received, to waive informalities to evaluate the proposals submitted, and to accept the proposal which best serves the interest of Cascade County. All proposals will become the property of Cascade County and will not be returned to the applicant. Cascade County will not pay for any information requested, nor will it be liable for any costs incurred by the applicant in obtaining preparing and submitting its proposal. No proposal shall be modified or withdrawn for a period of 120 days after the closing date for receipt of the proposals.
