NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN by the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Village of Park Forest, Cook and Will Counties, Illinois that sealed bids will be received for the following contract:

Invitation to Bidders
The Department of Recreation, Parks and Community Health (Department), representing the Village of Park Forest (Village), is seeking proposals from qualified firms interested in obtaining a license from the Village for the installation, operation, and maintenance of non-alcoholic beverage and snack vending machine products and services at various parks and facilities operated by the Village. Coinciding with the Department’s mission to enhance the quality of life for all peoples and to advance the use and enjoyment of parks, recreation, and environmental conservation under the guiding values of Community Health & Wellness, Sustainability, and Social Equity, an important aspect of this service includes providing healthy product options to the community.
General Requirements:
Bidders are expected to make themselves thoroughly familiar with the general conditions and requirements outlined in the attached request for proposal.
Specifications for this contract may be obtained from the Village website, http://www.villageofparkforest.com/bids. The Village reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any technicality and to accept any bid deemed to be in the best interest of the Village. The successful bidder shall carry and maintain the required insurance as outlined in the attached IRMA Insurance Guidelines.

The Village reserves the right to refuse to issue plans, bid forms, and specifications to any person, firm, or corporation that it considers to be unqualified. Proposals must be submitted on the forms provided. No bid shall be withdrawn after the opening of bids without the consent of the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Village of Park Forest. The Village reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bids, and to make such award as it may deem to be in the best interest of the Village.
