City of Harrisonburg -Thomas Harrison Middle School (1311 W. Market Street, Harrisonburg, VA 22801)

The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) by the City of Harrisonburg, Virginia (City) is to solicit sealed proposals from interested companies (Offeror) to refurbish an athletic field to include laser regrading, installing irrigation and installing rolled sod to the entire surface area at Thomas Harrison Middle School (1311 W. Market Street, Harrisonburg, VA 22801).The current athletic field sits inside of a 440-yard oval track. The field needs to be re-graded to meet necessary pitch for drainage, with irrigation installed during the process and finished with sod in rolls. Work shall be completed in the summer of 2026.This project is being funded by the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA). Per ARPA terms and conditions, the contract must be signed prior to January 1, 2026 and work related to this contract must be completed no later than December 31, 2026.
