Roadwork-SUPPLY&INSTALL 1 SMOOTH WALL STEEL PIPE CULVERT by BORING HWY16 TOTAL LENGTH 36m CS:16-17

Purpose of this Advance Proposed Procurement Notice:

This is an advance notice for the procurement of a Contractor to complete culvert replacement near Wynyard, Saskatchewan. Please note that all quantities and project details are subject to change. This tender will have a shortened advertising period and will have an early completion date.. The work is expected to take place as early as June 2026, with a specified completion date as early as August 2026. The Ministry reserves the right to not proceed with advertising this work.

Description of the Procurement:

SUPPLY AND INSTALLATION OF ONE 1 500 mm DIAMETER SMOOTH WALL STEEL PIPE CULVERTS BY THE BORING METHOD on Highway No.16, approximately 7.6 km west of its junction with Municipal Highway No. 640, near Wynyard; for a TOTAL LENGTH OF 36 m.

The following quantities are initial design estimates and are subject to change in the issued tender documents.

Estimated Quantities:

• 1 – 1 500 mm x 36 m Smooth Wall Steel Pipe Culvert
• Riprap Type 2 – 110 m3
• Sideslope Repair and Earthwork – approximate area of 100 m² and volume of 250 m³.

Bidders may request a debriefing session from Ministry of SaskBuilds and Procurement by emailing constructionsbp@gov.sk.ca within 30 days after the award notification date. The intention of the debriefing is to aid the Bidder by identifying areas of improvement that may be applied to subsequent procurement opportunities.
