Convenience Station Hauling Services
Synopsis:
The Landfill Convenience Station (Transfer Station) operation requires that roll-off bins be hauled and emptied on a regular basis. The City does not have the ability to haul internally. This service has been contracted out since its opening in 2005. The Landfill receives solid waste and recyclables at the transfer station from clients who are off loading their solid waste by hand. These materials are collected in existing 30, 40 and 50 yard bins. Once the solid waste and recyclables are received and bins are at capacity, the contractor is instructed to transport the material. The contractor will haul the bins containing solid waste to the landfill’s active tipping face, and the recyclables will be transported off-site to the assigned commodity recycling facility.
Submissions clearly marked "COR26-00149 Convenience Station Hauling Services", in the header line, will be received by the City of Regina, via email at procurement@regina.ca no later than 2:00 p.m. Central Standard Time, on May 26, 2026.
