Project Description: Demolition of an existing UV disinfection system and associated electrical equipment, demolition of an existing non-potable water pump to include pumps and piping, removal of an existing 30-inc control valve and associated piping, demolition of existing yard piping, demolition of asphalt pavement and a concrete walkway, furnishing and installing temporary disinfection system (including sodium hypochlorite and sodium bisulfite) modifications to existing UV equipment channels (including installation of stainless steel channel reduction plates, construction of extensions to the existing UV channels and construction of a new non-potable water wet well, installation of new UV disinfection equipment in each UV channel, new UV level control finger weirs, installation of new non-potable water pumps, check valves, butterfly valves, air release valves and associated non-potable water piping, relocation of existing non potable waste pump No. 1 & Pump No. 6, new pump control panels to included VFD units, Electrical improvements for the new UV system and non-potable water pumps, instrumentation and controls improvements, civil/site work improvements to an existing service drive to the UV structure, installation of new effluent filter backwash return pump station wet well, submersible pump, and associated valves/piping, installation of a new magnetic flow meter on the effluent filter backwash return piping, installation of a new 16-inch flow control valve and associated piping.
