This website is a free service provided by the Town of Canton (“Town”) for review and download of project bid documents. This site is the only site for prospective bidders to obtain digital copies of official Town bid documents.

Town bid documents are provided electronically and free of charge. Each prospective bidder must download and print all bid documents for review and bid. It is the responsibility of each prospective bidder to verify the completeness of their printed bid documents before submitting a bid and accompanying executed addenda acknowledgement forms.
INVITATION TO BID
The Town of Canton (Town), Department of Public Works (DPW), invites sealed bids for the installation and replacement of Well No. 17 at the Pecunit Street Water Treatment Facility located at 19 Pecunit Street in Canton, MA. Sealed bids for Town Project No. 25-013W, “Installation of Replacement Well No. 17 at the Pecunit St Water Treatment Facility”, shall be received in the Department of Public Works Administration & Engineering Office at 801 Washington Street, Canton, MA 02021 until 12:00 p.m. (noon) Local Time on December 19, 2025, at which place and time said Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud in the Salah Meeting Room, 2nd Floor of the Town of Canton, Town Hall.
The Project shall consist of the installation of a gravel-packed well (Well No. 17) and appurtenances at a location approximately 15-feet south of existing generator building and decommissioning existing Well No. 14 at the Pecunit Water Treatment Facility on Charles Drive, in accordance with MassDEP guidelines. The Project shall be substantially completed by April, 2025, or within 90 consecutive calendar days from the date specified in Section 00650 Notice to Proceed.
The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is: The Town of Canton Public Works Department, 801 Washington St, Canton, MA 02021. Biding Documents will be available on December 3, 2025 at 12:00 p.m. (noon) Local Time. Electronic Bidding Documents may be obtained free of charge in PDF format by visiting the official Town of Canton website’s Bid Posting page and downloading it there, in turn making that party a registered bidder. Hard copies of the Bidding Documents will not be available. Only bidders registered with The Town of Canton will receive Addenda. The Town reserves the right to reject any and all submissions, to waive any minor informalities & technicalities, or to cancel the bid if it were in the public interest to do so.
