Weed and Vegetation Control Services

Project Description: The City of Reading, PA is seeking bids for Weed and Vegetation Control Services for City-Owned Parks, Playgrounds, and Properties for calendar year 2025. An electronic bid, inclusive of all requested information and supporting documents, shall be submitted via the PennBid Program (https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com ). Proposals shall be received until 2:00 P.M., prevailing time on, April 1, 2025.
Specifications and Proposal Forms for the above work can be obtained via Penn Bid at https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com.
Each bid shall be accompanied by bid surety in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the proposal. A certified check or bid bond will be accepted.
Each bid shall be accompanied by a sample certificate of insurance showing the coverages and limits outlines herein.
The City of Reading reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids, and to accept or reject any part of a bid, as may be in the public interest.
Bids received after the hour specified, will not be considered.
It is the intent of the City of Reading to have all identified properties serviced throughout the year. By servicing these properties, it will help keep the vegetation under control and manageable by City employees.
