NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE

This notice is issued in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.501(a), which permits sole source acquisitions under Simplified Acquisition Procedures for commercial products or services when the contracting officer determines that only one source is capable of providing the required services at the level of quality necessary due to their unique or highly specialized nature.

The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source. This is not a request for competitive proposals. However, interested parties may submit a written statement of capability or proposal, which will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to proceed with a competitive acquisition. All capability statements received within five (5) calendar days of this notice will be reviewed. Only written responses will be accepted. Responses from responsible sources will be fully evaluated.
