The Ames Facilities Support Services (AFSS) contract provides comprehensive institutional facilities operation and maintenance services for NASA Ames Research Center (ARC), including the following craft and technical areas, necessary to ensure that equipment and facilities are capable of supporting the various missions: roads and other surfaced areas, facility alarm systems, fire suppression systems, buildings and structures, mechanical systems, utility systems, HVAC/R systems, electrical distribution and emergency generating systems, lifting devices, and grounds maintenance and pest control.
