Summary
Sarasota County is requesting quotes from bidders to provide and deliver ten (10) new softball pitching mats to 6700 Clark Rd. Sarasota, FL 34241.
SPECIFICATIONS
i. Quantity: Ten (10) pitching mats
ii. Color: “Clay Turf” color to match field aesthetics
iii. Design: Include clearly marked pitching lines
iv. Backing: Mats shall include spike strips or comparable anchoring system on the bottom to help secure mats in place during use
v. Material: Commercial-grade turf or equivalent durable athletic surface material designed for repeated softball use and outdoor exposure
vi. Condition: All mats shall be new, durable and suitable for outdoor recreational athletic use. Product must be spiked mats that can be utilized on dirt and artificial turf. Refer to Attachment 1.
Background
Award will be made to the responsive and responsible bidder providing the lowest total bid price.
DO NOT submit a quote of more than $50,000. In the event no responsive and responsible quotes are received under the quote threshold, the County may elect to cancel this Quick Quote and re-solicit using another procurement method.
