Project Description: COMANS, Inc will receive sealed electronic Bids for the Crabtree Affordable Rental Housing Project. Bids will be received by COMANS, Inc, via PennBid until 11:00 AM on March 21, 2025. All received proposals will be publicly opened and read at COMANS, Inc, 696 East Parker St at 11:15 AM on March 21, 2025.
Notice is hereby given that the Project is subject to the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act, as amended, 43 P.S. 165-1 et seq., and reference is made to the prevailing minimum wage rates applicable to each Project as promulgated by the Secretary of Labor and Industry
A MANDATORY Pre-Bid Conferences for ALL BIDDERS will be held February 19, 2025, at 12:30 pm and at February 25, 2025 at 10:00 am at the project site at 81 Crabtree Drive, Levittown, PA, 19055 for the purpose of reviewing the project. All BIDDERS are required to attend at least one Pre-Bid Conference. A supervised tour of the site will be conducted immediately after the Pre-Bid meeting. Unescorted inspections are not permitted.
Bona-fide Bidders shall register on pennbid.net. Bidders may obtain Bidding Documents at no cost on PennBid (www.pennbid.net). Documents will be available February 6, 2025. The General Trades contract includes, but is not limited to, interior demolition and renovation, new windows and siding, ADA pad and ramp, and general landscaping.
A satisfactory corporate surety shall provide security in an amount equal to 10% of the base bid together with the aggregate sum of all additive alternates.
All proposals shall be irrevocable for thirty (30) days after bid opening date, unless delayed due to required approvals of another governmental agency, sale of bonds, or the award of a grant or grants, in which case bids shall be irrevocable for one hundred twenty (120) days.
The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any or all irregularities, mistakes, omissions or informalities relative thereto.
