Description

The Village of Port Clements invites proposals from qualified contractors for the Tingley Street Watermain Improvement Project. The project is located in Port Clements, Haida Gwaii. The work primarily involves replacing existing Asbestos Cement (AC) watermain with new PVC mains (approx. 560m total of 100mm & 150mm), reconnecting approximately 31 water services (including road crossings), installing associated valves and fittings, limited AC pipe handling and disposal, and related surface restoration. The Village intends to select a preferred proponent based on the evaluation criteria outlined in the NRFP, enter into negotiations, and potentially award a contract based on the Village's standard form.
