This RFP is an invitation by the City of Toronto to prospective suppliers to submit Bids for the Trunk Sewer Siphon Cleaning Project as further described in Part 3 of the Ariba event.
The City of Toronto's Toronto Water (TW) division currently manages, operates and maintains an extensive network of sewers that collect flow including combined flow, and ultimately convey the flow to several wastewater treatment facilities. These sewers are aging, accumulating sediment and deteriorating. It is the City’s intent to clean selected siphon and gravity sanitary and combined trunk sewer pipes (600 mm to 2700 mm diameter), the associated maintenance access chambers (manholes), and to dispose of removed material. This also includes chamber repair/reconstruction and repair/replacement of mechanical equipment. |
